Meet Jasmijn & Patricia
Two creative magpies, collecting beautiful things wherever we go.
A mother-daughter duo with a shared weakness for clothes, home decor, shiny objects and anything handmade. Every two months Patricia disappears into the streets of Jaipur, visiting old friends, wandering through workshops and searching for things most people walk straight past. Back in The Hague, Jasmijn turns those discoveries into small webshop releases and hand-knotted pieces made one at a time.
Our goal? Collect beautiful things and share them with others for the joy of simply collecting.
From Jaipur to your jewellery box
We're constantly searching, designing, and refining. Not because the world needs more jewelry, but because remarkable craftsmanship deserves a place in modern wardrobes. Like the vintage pieces we return to again and again. We create designs that are intended to be worn, loved, and kept for a very long time.
Patricia spends much of her time in Jaipur, working directly with the people who cut, carve, source, and shape the materials we use. Jasmijn translates those discoveries into small collections and limited releases designed for people who appreciate craftsmanship, character, and finding something a little unexpected.
Together, we look for the balance between something special and something effortless. Pieces that feel distinctive without being difficult to wear.
It should work just as well with a white shirt on a Tuesday as they do for dinner on a Friday night. Of course, life would be terribly boring without a little bit of character.

THe explorer
Patricia has been travelling to Jaipur since 2006.
What started as a fascination became a second home, she often calls Jaipur her little escape. Getting away from her cozy home in Italy and into the chaotic city of Jaipur that somehow feels peaceful in a strange way. She returns multiple times a year, working with suppliers, traders and craftspeople she has known for more than 20+ years. Some have become family friends. We have attended weddings, many shared dinners and watched businesses and familiies grow(up) together.
The real magic isn't what she finds. It's who she knows and how strong a connection can be between people that live so far apart. Need a someone in Jaipur? Patricia will know someone, and if she doesn’t she knows someone that knows. One introduction leads to the next, opening doors most people never get to see.

The builder
While Patricia discovers the treasures, Jasmijn decides what makes it into the collection.
Working as a UX designer in her day-to-day corporate life, she also creates everything behind Atelier Asali: the branding, photography, website, product development, customer experience, social media, strategy, and yes, even the jewelry itself. If you've ever messaged us online, chances are you've been talking to her.
When materials arrive from Jaipur, the work becomes physical. Every necklace and bracelet is assembled by hand in our studio in The Hague, while each pendant is photographed, styled, and carefully prepared before it finds its way to its new home.
Where Patricia creates opportunities for discovery, Jasmijn turns those discoveries into something tangible. Together, we make it possible for you to find extraordinary pieces without having to travel halfway around the world yourself.
