Scarab pendant carved from natural stone, inspired by ancient Egypt

In ancient Egypt, the scarab beetle was a sacred symbol of rebirth, transformation, and eternal life. It was believed to carry the sun across the sky, renewing the day with light and hope. Each gemstone is hand-sourced and carved by master artisans in Jaipur, India. The organic nature of the stones means no two carvings are exactly alike. Your piece will have its own shape, color variations, and natural markings. Slight differences in size, cut, and shape are part of its artisan character.

Please note that when ordering two pendants, we will try to match them as closely as possible, but this might not always be possible.

Our jewellery is generally shipped within 1-3 working days, send out with the same care and attention that goes into creating each piece. Every order is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely at your doorstep.

All orders are shipped from our home studio in the Netherlands. Once your parcel is on its way, you'll receive a tracking link so you can follow its journey. Orders over €75 ship free within the Netherlands.

At this time, we only ship within the Netherlands due to recent EU packaging regulations. We hope to offer international shipping again in the future and appreciate your understanding.

Every pendant has a journey

Every pendant begins as a design in The Hague before being carefully carved by artisans in Jaipur, India's renowned gemstone capital.

Working directly with the artisans who create our pieces, we produce exceptional handmade gemstone carvings without middlemen or mass production.

Crafted in limited quantities, each pendant is shaped by skilled hands using designs inspired by small trinkets and collected treasures gathered by Jasmine and Patricia over the years.

Een aantal kettingen, armbanden en hangers heb ik besteld. Het zijn stuk voor stuk prachtige kwaliteit stenen die in de sieraden verwerkt zijn. De kettingen zijn nog mooier dan de foto’s tonen. Bij vragen of bepaalde hangers passen bij een ketting, kreeg ik voorbeelden te zien, zodat ik kon kiezen. De service is uitstekend en veel kettingen hebben een verrassend design. Ik kan iedereen een sieraad van Atelier Asali aanraden.
